Unreliable Narrator

I have now got used to the fact that my blog narrative has a few post-dated holes in it, for the practical reasons discussed yesterday.

It’s not as though people trawl back through earlier posts anyway. You are only as good as your last blog post, when it boils down to it.

Even an unspoken need to explain the gaps and non-sequiturs is mostly a waste of energy. I’m sure that if people really wanted to they could ask for an explanation, and I would happily give it, along with descriptions of what is absent.

It is of course possible that over time older posts may become somewhat redundant anyway, reflecting things that are no longer relevant.

We all offer a narrative to others. It’s usually unreliable.
