Sometimes WordPress freaks me out.
In the early hours of this morning someone, UK-based, read my entire blog right back as far as the beginning of April and the NaPoWriMo Challenge. Definitely just one individual.
That is some serious time investment. I have no idea who they are, no “likes”, no comments….
I did once have a stalkerette so perhaps I’m just being irrationally neurotic (wouldn’t be the first time….)

Mmmmm, that is one long tap on the shoulder. I get a bit freaked out sometimes by my public presence and delete tranches of posts which makes me a bit neurotic too but, like you, I have my reasons… 😆

That is creepy. 🙊 Is it possible that WordPress have some sort of crawly research robot that selects random blogs and analyses them in great detail? Or maybe someone’s doing a PhD on blogging?

Maybe people don’t realise this activity is obvious to us. People behave differently if they don’t realise they are observable.

Yes – I didn’t think of that. There obviously are ‘things’ that monitor though. When I collected all my posts on dementia and went to publish them on Kindle as Dementia’s Daughter I had delays/emails from Amazon saying it contained material that appeared elsewhere on the web. I had to explain before they would publish. In future I will keep the two things separate. 🙎
